B0331 camera module not working on Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 while B0267 works

Hoping someone can help. I have an Arducam B0331 camera module and I just can’t get it to work at all. I also have a B0267 and that one works perfectly on both my Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi 4. It’s only the B0331 that refuses to work when I connect it. I’ve tried following all the instructions and rebooted multiple times. I’ve attached a screenshot of the terminal errors I’m seeing. Any ideas?

Thanks for the details. Since the B0267 works on the same Pi 3 and Pi 4, this looks like a B0331-specific config/software issue rather than a hardware problem with the Pi itself. Can you run this command and paste the output here? It will show us the current state of the libcamera packages:

dpkg -l | grep libcamera

Here’s the output from that command. I’ve attached the terminal output below.

Thanks, that helps. To speed this up, it might be easier for me to look at your setup directly. I’ve sent you a scheduling link and the remote access details through private message. Just a heads up: I’m on UTC+8 (Beijing/Hong Kong time), and the 22:00 slot on the calendar is only for sales, so it’s not available for remote support. Pick a time that works and send me the remote access ID and password back via private message.

Let’s just do it now if that works for you. I’ve sent you the TeamViewer ID through private message.

I’ve started a live session and sent you the meeting link through private message. We’ll connect there and use the remote access details you sent to look at the Pi together. So far the root cause isn’t pinned down yet. We’ve confirmed the B0267 works on the same hardware, so the focus is on the B0331-specific configuration, and we’ll pick it up from the libcamera package output once we’re in the session.
