Arducam suitability for 8mm cine film digitization

I want to build a system to convert 8mm cine to a digital format. The system I have in mind will involve taking a digital photo of every single frame at highest resolution and fast, 5 fps would be good. The images need to be sent, real time to a PC.

I already have an Arducam 5m mini plus OV5642 Rev C and would like to know if it is up to the job. Or perhaps it can be made suitable by adding a USB shield.

The maximum resolution of Arducam mini 5mp plus is not up to 5 fps.

Parallel port OV5642 maximum resolution jpeg format using ArduCAM_USB_Camera_Shield can reach 15fps. So you can try this plan.
