Hi, I’m trying to get an ArduCam 5MP Motorised IR-CUT OV5647 camera working on a Raspberry Pi 4, but the camera isn’t being detected. I followed the manual setup steps and ran the usual checks, but vcgencmd get_camera gives:
supported=1 detected=0
So it looks enabled in software, but the Pi still doesn’t see the camera. I’ve attached a photo of the current wiring/setup below.
Thanks for the details. supported=1 detected=0 from vcgencmd get_camera usually means the camera is enabled in software, but the Pi can’t detect the sensor at the CSI/hardware level. Before we start changing settings, I’d like to see a full camera bug report. Please reboot the Pi and run:
I rebooted and ran the tool. It generated the report, and I’ve attached arducam-bug-report.txt below. I’m planning to use this camera to take images of finger veins, so if there are specific code/config changes needed to get it working, I’d appreciate the details.
Thanks for the report. Let’s try correcting the boot configuration. Run:
sudo nano /boot/config.txt
Then follow the steps shown in the screenshot I’ve attached below, save the file, and reboot the Raspberry Pi. The camera needs the correct entries in /boot/config.txt before it will be recognized. After the reboot, run vcgencmd get_camera again and let me know whether detected changes to 1.
