Hi everyone. I’m running an Arducam OV5647 camera on a Raspberry Pi 4 and I just can’t get it to show up. I’ve been following the paper instructions that came with it and even reseated/reinstalled the camera a couple of times, but when I run libcamera-hello I always get “no cameras available”. It has never worked properly since I got it. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
That “no cameras available” error means libcamera isn’t detecting the camera at all, so we need to gather some system and camera config details. Please reboot your Pi first, then run the following to generate a diagnostic report:
wget -O arducam-camera-bug-report https://github.com/ketai-dhr/arducam-camera-bug-report/releases/download/tools/arducam-camera-bug-report
chmod +x ./arducam-camera-bug-report
./arducam-camera-bug-report
That will produce a file called arducam-bug-report.txt in your current directory. Attach that txt file to your reply and I’ll take a look.

I think there’s a bit of confusion here - you attached the downloaded script itself (arducam-camera-bug-report), not the report it generates. I don’t need the script. You actually have to execute it. So after downloading, make sure you run:
chmod +x ./arducam-camera-bug-report
./arducam-camera-bug-report
Once it finishes, it will write arducam-bug-report.txt in the current directory. Attach that txt file instead.
Sorry about that, my mistake. I ran the script for real this time and it generated the txt report. Attaching arducam-bug-report.txt now.

There are two possibilities: the standard OV5647 module, or the OV5647 with motorized focus.
