Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way I can link the ov9281 through the arducam MIPI/Rpi driver to motion/motioneye Motioneye

I have motioneye working with the standard raspberry pi unicam V4L2 driver. I would like to link the video feed from the Arducam driver as the driver has auto-exposure. I know motioneye does allow importing of MMAL components could you explain whether I can link the MIPI/Rpi driver feed to motion?

Many thanks,
Sam

8.How would you like us to help you?
Give me some guidance on how to use the MIPI driver and auto-exposure mode in motioneye

Hello,
Let me introduce some details for you. For the motioneye, it in fact is a server, which will start a camera, but it only support uvc camera and official raspberry pi camera wich is drived by mmal components. For ov9281 and 7251 sensor, they use unicam driver and the motioneye server does not support grap image through unicam driver. hope my explaination will help you understand it.
