@will842

I see you post in many threads, we can just chat in this thread.

It looks like the camera is not connected properly, can you show me the connection diagram?

You can also try another flexible cable

Hello

I have already try other cable connection and i control all my plug

I exchange the cable from the hat to the pi by a camera cable … no changement .
How i can can be sure there no hardware problem, with the hat or cameras ?? ( i have already try on an other pi4 )
I try to power plug on by the hat and on the pi .

Thanks for your help

@will842

The green light will flash several times when the hat is first powered on. Can you describe the state of the light?
Another question, I found out that you use both gpio pins and typeC for power, you only need one.

No light on the hat and on the pi the green light blinking a lot a the boot moment .

For the power i use only the type C for the hat and the pi . GPIO are to plug the both together

This is not normal.

That slot is also for powering the hat. We have not tried a situation where both channels have power. This may corrupt the hardware.

I never plug two usb c, only one cable for the pi and the hat . No double power plug . but i can try with 2 usb c and i unplug gpio

I plug power cable on the pi and the hat on GPIO …

@will842

Maybe I made a mistake in my expression

The part I circled is all used for hat power supply
image

Only one of the two power ports needs to be connected.

on the picture it was the second solution … normaly i plug the power cable usb c on the pi4 … and the hat on GPIO but i never see light on the hat … only on the pi

When i receive the hat, my first test we plug the hat alone and no light was blinking at all that why my question … how can i control hardware problem , maybe it was a hardware problem from the beggining

I think like i see it , i can’t use this camera directly without the hat ?

@will842

Yes, these cameras are made for hats and have different firmware.

If the hat never lights up, then the hardware should be bad. You can contact sales for replacement ([email protected])

You can also write the link of this thread into the email, and I will tell them about your situation when they contact me.

Ok i contact them …
Thanks a lot
bye

@will842

If they don’t reply you for a long time, you can come and tell me.

I send to arducam and utronic (the shop where i buy ) maybe it’s the same but …
Thanks

@will842

Sure.

My pleasure.
