Hello,
I tried using the Arducam guide to use the IMX708 camera with Picamera2 on a Raspberry Pi 5 with the latest OS.
My setup code is shown below:
self._pi_camera.configure(
self._pi_camera.create_preview_configuration(
main={"format": "BGR888", "size": (640, 480)},
controls={"FrameRate": 30},
)
)
self._pi_camera.start()
sleep(1)
self._pi_camera.set_controls(
{
"AeEnable": False,
"AwbEnable": False,
"ExposureTime": 30000, # 30 ms
"AnalogueGain": 1.0,
"FrameDurationLimits": (33333, 33333),
"AfMode": 2,
"AfTrigger": 0
}
)
On creating the camera object, I get the warning:
“Could not set AF_TRIGGER - no AF algorithm or not Auto”.
However, the autofocus feature still seems to work. Should I be worried about the warning?
