Hi everyone. I’m trying to get an Arducam IMX477 camera module working on a Jetson Nano, but I keep hitting an error whenever I try to use it. I did a quick search and it looks like this is a pretty widespread issue. I even found a thread here where someone said they’d post a follow-up, but it never showed up. Does anyone know if there’s been any progress on this?
And I forgot, here is the file: arducam_bug_report.txt
Thanks for the bug report. I’ve gone through it, but before we dig into the software side I’d like to rule out the physical connection first. Could you post a couple of pictures showing how everything is hooked up - one from the Jetson Nano end and one from the camera end? That’ll help me verify the ribbon cable seating and orientation.
Quick update from my side - I actually got it working now. I found a gstreamer pipeline in one of the other threads and that did the trick. The commands from the official guide still don’t work for me though, just FYI.
Glad you found a working pipeline. Just to confirm what you’re seeing: there are indeed errors in the commands listed in the official guide, so that explains why they didn’t work for you. Going forward, I’d suggest using the Python code in this repo to preview the camera instead of relying on the guide commands: GitHub - edward-ardu/jetson_quick_start_script · GitHub
