Hi everyone, I’m trying to get my Arducam stereo camera (B0263) working on an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit. I’m currently on JetPack 5.1.3 and the install script keeps failing. It prints:
Cannot find the corresponding deb package, please send the following information to [email protected]
Kernel version: 5.10.192-tegra-35.5.0-20240219203809
Jetson type: NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Developer Kit
Is JetPack 5.1.3 (L4T 35.5.0) supposed to be supported? I can’t find a matching deb package anywhere.
Welcome to the forum. Can you post the exact command you ran and confirm the camera model? That ‘Cannot find the corresponding deb package’ message usually comes from the install script when it can’t match your detected L4T version to a driver package.
Thanks, that helps. Looking at the kernel string, you’re on L4T 35.5.0, which corresponds to JetPack 5.1.3. The script is failing because Arducam has not released the camera driver (Jetvariety) for L4T 35.5.0 yet. So when ./install_full.sh scans for a deb package matching 35.5.0, it doesn’t find one and prints that ‘Cannot find the corresponding deb package’ message.
Correct, there’s no released driver package for L4T 35.5.0 (JetPack 5.1.3) yet, so there’s nothing for the script to download. I wouldn’t recommend forcing a package from a different L4T version either — kernel modules built for another L4T release can fail to load or cause instability. The reliable option right now is to reflash the Jetson to a JetPack version that’s on Arducam’s supported list.
To sum up: on L4T 35.5.0 (JetPack 5.1.3) there is no Arducam camera driver package yet, so ./install_full.sh -m arducam correctly reports ‘Cannot find the corresponding deb package’. The current workaround is to reflash to a supported JetPack/L4T version from the docs, then run the install again. If it still fails on a supported release, post the new kernel version and we can dig further.
