8MP Synchronized Stereo Hat camera not detected

I’m trying to get my Arducam 8MP Synchronized Stereo Camera Bundle Kit for Raspberry Pi (B0195S8MP) working but no matter what I do it reckons there is no camera plugged in. I’ve checked the cables several times, the hat is plugged onto the pi and powered (red light is on), and I’ve tested a standard 5MP camera, which works.

My impression was that the module would basically work like a standard camera, is that correct or is there something else I need to do?

As normal, for the synchronized stereo board, it the 5MP can work normally, which means the synchronized stereo board is normal.

Let’s move on the problem to the camera, please check the ribbon cable in detail. It seems the connector is defective, please try to re-connected it again.
