@birendra

hi,I replied to you in the mail, you can communicate with me here, or we continue to keep in touch in the mail.

@Edward
Hi, I cannot find your reply in mail,we can contiue communicating here as other people are also facing this issue, it will help others too if issue resolved.
Could you please help me in resolving this issue…?
Thanks.

@birendra

Maybe I’m mistaken, I have someone with the same problem email me.

Don’t worry about your first two problems, they will not affect your use, of course, we will fix them later.

i need some message

ls /dev/video*
sudo dpkg -l | grep libcamera

Then use the following command to try to see if I can run through the camera
libcamera-still -t 0

@Edward I have got the above results.
ls /dev/video*

/dev/video0 /dev/video11 /dev/video14 /dev/video18 /dev/video22
/dev/video1 /dev/video12 /dev/video15 /dev/video20 /dev/video23
/dev/video10 /dev/video13 /dev/video16 /dev/video21 /dev/video31

sudo dpkg -l | grep libcamera

ii libcamera-apps 0.0.8 armhf libcamera-apps
ii libcamera-dev 0.0.8 armhf libcamera

libcamera-still -t 0

I would like to say that preview window is launching, I can run through the camera with following warnings and error.

@birendra

Strangely, the camera is recognized, but doesn’t seem to be activated.
try this
libcamera-still -t 5000 -n -o test.jpg

@Edward
libcamera-still -t 5000 -n -o test.jpg is capturing saving image:

@birendra

This proves that both libcamera and camera are fine.

Maybe there is something wrong with your monitor, you can take a picture of your monitor connection, if your monitor is too big, you need to adjust the configuration to 720P

@Edward
I’m using VNC server on rpi4 and Vnc viewer on my laptop.
I will try to adjust Vnc resolution to 720p.

@birendra

If you are connected by vnc, the preview may have problems, you need to give your device an output interface

@Edward, i can capture images and videos- no issue in these.
just getting error unusually.
It should work fine despite of these error.

@Edward Thank you for looking into this issue.

@birendra

These errors and warnings, we have checked, and will not have any impact on your use, we will optimize the code in this area later, I wish you a happy weekend
